My family stayed at Phidam Palm Gardens for several days while visiting friends in Kampala, and truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The property is beautifully maintained with spacious grounds and lovely gardens. Several evenings, we ate dinner outside in the garden and enjoyed delicious meals served by the gracious staff. We all agreed that the food lovingly prepared by the Chef and the kitchen staff was some of the most delicious we ate while in Uganda. Additionally, the rest of the staff at Phidam made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed to relax after our long journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and more remote parts of Uganda. The sparkling clean and spacious rooms are nicely appointed with comfortable beds, nice showers, and good quality bed linens. Finally, the owners are welcoming and kind. I highly recommend Phidam Palm Gardens as a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of Kampala. You won’t find a more lovely place to stay in the area!
